Pay: $22 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Key Duties:

• Apply liquid paint and coatings to metal parts using automatic sprayers, electrostatic, and traditional spray guns to meet specifications.
• Set up, operate, and perform touch-ups in automatic paint and spray booths.
• Clean and prepare automatic paint booths before each color change using compressed air.
• Locate and prepare the correct paint and materials according to work orders.
• Paint hard-to-reach areas manually before parts enter the automatic booth.
• Mix paints and solvents according to manufacturer specifications and operate automated mixing equipment correctly.
• Manually move parts through painting, flashing, and drying sections of the paint system.
• Ensure parts remain in flashing and drying areas for the required time.
• Inspect finished work and make corrections as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform periodic cleaning and flushing of paint and solvent delivery systems.
• Maintain filtering systems for paint booths and ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate required maintenance of paint system equipment, working with the Maintenance Department as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper housekeeping in all paint system work areas.
• Assist as needed in other areas of the paint line operation.

Requirements:

• 2 years of industrial painting experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
