Backroom Associate

Position: (USA) Backroom Associate – Sam's Club

Compensation: $18.00/hr – $25.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).

• Maintain and process shipments in accordance with company policies, develop and post delivery schedules.
• Compile and organize receiving reports, verify merchandise counts, route merchandise to proper locations, pay expenses.
• Receive merchandise for the facility, organize and maintain the receiving area following company procedures and equipment usage.
• Track and process claims, return damaged goods, handle liquidation merchandise, maintain and clean clearance area, capture required reporting.
• Maintain safety of facility by following safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous materials handling, steel standard guidelines, reporting unsafe situations.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers; identify priorities.
• Communicate progress, recommend improvement opportunities, adapt to change, feedback.

Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.

• Forklift certification or obtain within 30 days of job entry.
