We are a employee‑owned engineering and consulting firm building sustainable infrastructure. As an Electrical Project Engineer – Substation QA/QC you will perform quality assurance/control of substation design packages, collaborate with the design team, and continuously improve processes.

• Function as a quality control/quality assurance engineer within the substation quality management group (QMG).
• Perform QA/QC of substation design packages including physical design and protective relaying/control with emphasis on continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the substation design team and coordinate with internal/external team members on moderately complex projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on design guides, standards, applicable codes and B&V policies.
• Prepare engineering deliverables, perform research, develop recommendations for equipment/material selection, and manage assigned budget, schedule and quality requirements.

• High voltage (HV) substation design experience – Physical and/or Protection & Controls.
• Project lead and technical specialist experience overseeing utility substation clients and projects.
• QA/QC Reviews – Quality Assurance/Quality Checks.
• Experience coordinating and communicating with clients, multidisciplinary leads and project managers.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Proficient with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
