This is a 3 month contract to begin with and work needs to be done in PST hours

Our Client is a Fortune 350 company that engages in the design, manufacturing, marketing, and service of semiconductor processing equipment.

Looking for a Senior product manager who will have the opportunity to contribute to an important product line as a product owner. Responsibilities will include:

• Active participation in a cross functional team to ensure the product configuration is accurate and will meet customer needs
• Familiarity with product option architecture concepts
• Driving the implementation of customer special configurations on system shipments
• Assisting/Driving the planning of new developmental material on system shipments and to customers in the field including forecasting and driving unreleased material to support shipments
• Work with product management to drive engineering project prioritization to develop new products and features
• Must have ability to pivot quickly given changing priorities
• Lead projects to improve product cost and quality

Must haves:

• Basic technical understanding – ability to pick up on technical concepts and terminology;
  Bachelor’s degree of an Engineering or Science discipline would be a good indicator
• Quick learner and ability to adapt
• Good organization skills; ability to keep organized in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ownership – this person will need to be able to take actions and projects and drive to closure, ideally with less oversight over time
• Needs to be able to work well with others; this role requires a fair amount of interaction with engineers of various disciplines as well as product and program management
• Good understanding of MS Office/Excel/Power point. Knowledge of SAP is a bonus, but not a must have. Ability to learn new software workflows

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree, preferably in an engineering or technical field.
• Knowledge of MS office product is required. Knowledge/experience with SAP is desired.
