The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.

The Electrical Engineer will develop discipline specific engineering designs and develops drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents for the construction of new R&D Lab facilities, new process equipment installations, and existing facility system alterations. In this role, you will review and develop estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.

You will coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. You will develop criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes. You will lead the discipline specific systems operations and maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation. You will plan facility(s) changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations.

• Technical lead for design, construction, commissioning, system acceptance testing, and operations of critical facilities electrical systems including but not limited to utility power, emergency power, UPS power, generators/ATS, lighting, grounding etc.
• Responsible for assuring proper maintenance is performed (active participation in coordination efforts) and records are properly evaluated and followed up to assure highest reliability possible.
• Using Easy Power software, generate and evaluate power coordination studies, arc fault analysis and short circuit calculations.
• Responsible for tracking, monitoring, reporting on capacity from the service level to branch circuit panels ensuring adequate capacity is available to support business growth based upon forecasts and prior usage rates.
