Pay Range: $55-$60/hr (W2)
About the RoleWe are supporting a leading global technology manufacturer looking to bring on multiple Supply Chain Business Managers to support growing operational demands. This role sits within a high-impact Supply Chain Commodity team and plays a critical part in managing global factories, improving supplier performance, and driving operational excellence across several key commodities.
What You’ll Do- Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement throughout the production cycle to determine purchasing needs.
- Define and track supplier performance metrics to support continuous improvement and identify risks within the supply base.
- Implement and optimize procurement and inventory control processes (Kanban, JIT, min/max strategies).
- Work with suppliers to ensure materials meet forecasted demand and delivery timelines.
- Represent supplier business management in cross-functional teams addressing supply challenges and customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex issues impacting material flow and delivery.
- Develop presentations, white papers, and process flow documentation for ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Support cost management initiatives by monitoring product cost drivers, preventing negative variances, and driving cost-reduction efforts.
- Partner with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and on-time delivery performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years managing global factories and multiple commodities within a complex supply chain.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems with scalable, repeatable solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Excel expertise in macros, pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% (domestic and occasionally international).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP experience (SAP strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Supplier management expertise
