Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Vice President of Operations to lead multiple business units across designated regions. This position is critical in shaping operational excellence, driving financial performance, and mentoring leadership teams.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Communicate the company’s vision and align regional business goals with corporate objectives.
  • Lead business unit operations to achieve financial, safety, and quality benchmarks.
  • Provide guidance to Business Unit Leaders and operations teams to meet performance goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute organizational goals.
  • Ensure all operational activities support long‑term company growth and profitability.
  • Oversee business unit financial structures, ensuring sound funding for company goals.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, cost reports, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct and/or review cost analysis for materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Estimate the cost of new and proposed projects and services.
  • Approve cost‑control reports, staffing requirements, and project budgets.
Operational Excellence
  • Lead a team of managers and field staff in delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient operations.
  • Promote open communication and collaboration among divisions to foster unity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Identify training needs and ensure the delivery of development programs.
People & Culture
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent within business units.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Present regular performance reports and operational metrics to the executive team.
Other Duties
  • Support company‑wide initiatives and contribute to national operational strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Proven experience managing multi‑location operations and diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and financial reports.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, set measurable goals, and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Eight (8) years of commercial roofing operations experience required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and construction operations management systems highly preferred.
