As a Material Handler at Lam, you play a crucial role in the efficient coordination of materials from shipping and receiving to storing and distributing. Your attention to detail in checking and processing goods, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate records are essential to Lam’s commitment to operational excellence.

In this role, you will directly contribute to the success of our team.
What You’ll Do
- Perform a variety of tasks (physical and administrative) involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and fulfillment of merchandise, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Receive materials off incoming trucks and process through audit activities.
- Package and prepare products for shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges.
- Validate goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices and maintain records of quantity and quality.
- Decontaminate and clean materials as they enter the cleanroom environment.
- Facilitate material delivery for parts returning to the Warehouse.
- Complete material transactions in SAP, creating non-conformance reports, and closing required tasks.
- Operate a sit-down forklift as needed.
- Support a safe work environment by following safe work practices, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following Lockout Tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures.
Who We’re Looking For
- 1-2 years of related experience with a Technical Certificate or Diploma.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Foundational computer skills including use of warehouse management software (WMS) such as SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) to perform job tasks for extended periods including moving materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Material handling experience preferred.
- Material handling equipment (MHE) trained or certified – Forklift preferred.
- Associate's Degree in a related field is nice to have.
