Ascentec Engineering is seeking Material Handlers! It's an exciting time to join a growing company that has a state-of-the- art temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.



Shift: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

These positions are onsite (not remote/not hybrid) at our Tualatin location and are not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To include, but not limited to the following:

• Receive materials into stock
• Pick materials and deliver to downstream & upstream, internal customers/departments
• Maintain accurate inventory levels
• Perform cycle counts and end of month inventory
• Maintain accurate inventory records in a computer system
• Coordinate with other staff to meet deadlines in a fast paced, quick turn environment
• Final clean and packaging for a wide variety of products
• Prepare all shipping paperwork using Epi Cor, UPS and Fed Ex websites
• Verify incoming shipments
• Arrange occasional LTL and same-day shipments
• Local pickup and delivery back-up
• Coordinate with other staff shipping deadlines in a fast-paced, quick-turn environment

Working Conditions

• Works in a machine shop environment.
• May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 60 lbs.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
• Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
• Occasional local travel may be required.
• The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job, absent undue hardship. The employer retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position.

• Compensation DOE -- range is $17 to $21 per hour

Other Requirements

Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.

ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
