• Prepare operating rooms for diverse surgical cases; scrub in and circulate under supervision; anticipate instrument and supply needs; manage sterile technique and instrument sets; assist with instrument counts and specimen labeling; facilitate patient positioning and drape setup; support turnover and room readiness between cases; collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and support staff to ensure patient safety and efficiency.
• Build a broad perioperative foundation across multiple specialties, with pathways to lead tech roles, perioperative coordination, or advanced instrument proficiency. Ongoing access to training, mentorship, and competency expansion helps you sharpen technical skills and leadership capabilities.
