Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a flexible day shift position in rural Arizona, requiring an active AZ or compact RN license and strong clinical skills.

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg unit
• Patient population includes individuals of all ages
• Day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, three shifts per week
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Orientation is offered every two weeks
• Duties include performing diverse nursing care procedures with a focus on patient-centered care across various age groups
• Limited shared housing may be available for $600/month; no family or pets are allowed in housing
• Housing application must be submitted two weeks prior to start if housing is needed
• COVID-19 and flu vaccine exemptions may be considered with a declination form
• Position is located in a rural, culturally rich area serving a diverse community
• First-time travelers will be considered

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of experience in an acute or sub-acute facility
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Fingerprinting must be completed prior to start
