RN - MedSurg

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, currently 3 shifts per week with potential transition to 3 one week and 4 the next.

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The ability to work independently in completing assignments is essential. The role includes support to individuals of all ages and their families.

• Provide nursing care per physician’s orders and standards of care.
• Utilize nursing policies and procedures manuals and hospital policies.
• Deliver care to patients while considering their specific conditions and treatments.
• Maintain professional and compassionate communication with patients and their families.

• Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the USA.
• Must have and maintain current valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire.
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIH Stroke Scale training must be completed within six months of hire.
