As the leading bakery equipment supplier, we're growing and need talented teammates like you to help us continue this journey. AMF Bakery is looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer to provide mechanical machine design and support for AMF Bakery Systems Products. This includes current standard food machinery equipment, custom and legacy products, value engineering and sales support. The positions will also serve as Product Owner to AMF Products.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and be equipped with significant machine and mechanism design experience. They should be eager to gain knowledge to become on expert on AMF Products and have exceptional communication and leadership skills.

• Provide mechanical machine design which includes sizing and specifying all mechanical design components
• Assemble complete and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the machine/system design
• Provide field service technicians remote support during system service calls, installation, and commissioning.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and startup support. This generally could result in 15-20% travel.
• Provide solutions for End of Life (EOL) components within AMF Systems to support customer needs.
• Responsible for maintenance of technical documents.
• Assist the Applications Engineering and Equipment Product Managers during the scope phase of a potential project.
• Assist sales with custom design solutions and custom quote estimating.
• Support product groups through demonstrated teamwork influencing skills
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Bean expert on AMF productsforPTL/CTL to call on for sales & service
• Review the manuals/method/RSPLon a regular basis
• Understand the costs of manufacturing and installation
• Debrief on financial performance of each shipment / install
• Ensure each punch list item from a start-up is resolved for future orders
• Have the capability to train operators and maintenance personnel in basic operation and routine PM
• Expectation to spend at least 1 trip per quarter to support a start-up, service, close-out, or training event
