The City of Tucker, GA, is recruiting a Court Administrator. The City of Tucker, Georgia, is one of the most vibrant and civically engaged communities in metro Atlanta. Nestled in the northeast corridor of DeKalb County, Tucker combines the convenience of urban connectivity with the warmth of small-town character. Since its incorporation in 2016, Tucker has rapidly established a reputation for responsive government, collaborative partnerships, and forward-looking leadership.
Tucker’s Main Street District has become a regional destination, lined with locally owned restaurants, breweries, boutiques, and community gathering spots that bring residents together for live music, farmers' markets, and festivals year-round. The Tucker Farmers Market, Taste of Tucker, and Tucker Day Parade embody the city’s sense of community pride and local entrepreneurship.
Surrounding Main Street are tree‑lined neighbourhoods that reflect Tucker’s deep roots. Families who have lived here for generations now share the community with newcomers drawn by Tucker’s strong schools, extensive park system, and proximity to major employment centres like Emory University, the CDC, and the bustling I‑285/I‑85 corridor.
Outdoor recreation is part of Tucker’s DNA. The city manages more than 300 acres of parks, including Henderson Park, Kelley Cofer Park, and the Tucker Nature Preserve. A growing network of trails—linking neighbourhoods, parks, and commercial areas—makes Tucker a model for walkable suburban design in the metro Atlanta area.
With a population of nearly 40,000 residents, Tucker’s cultural and economic diversity is one of its greatest strengths. Longtime residents, young professionals, and entrepreneurs call Tucker home. The community embodies a spirit of volunteerism and civic engagement, as reflected in its active neighbourhood associations, faith‑based communities, and city boards and commissions.
The Court Administrator oversees the administration and daily operations of Tucker’s Municipal Court. This individual will provide strategic leadership, manage staff, modernise procedures, and serve as the primary liaison between the court, the public, and other city departments.

The Court Administrator will oversee a small but dedicated team, modernise systems and technology, and foster cross‑departmental partnerships to create a more seamless and customer‑focused court experience.
The successful candidate will be a bridge‑builder—someone who understands the importance of collaboration between the judiciary, law enforcement, and city administration.
