As a Dietary Aide, you play a vital role in our community. You assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, setting up trays, preparing snack items and food requests for special events. You deliver a high level of customer service by distributing food in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual resident meals according to specified diet orders and an approved menu.

With a close eye for detail, you ensure the quality and temperature of food items. You also deliver and retrieve trays by the end of meal dining time and wash dishes. You take great care to maintain safety and sanitary conditions, including picking up food and trash, cleaning tables, chairs, and other food service equipment and utensils.

By complying with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations, you uphold the trust of those in your care. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues. • Ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail, and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Ability to anticipate resident needs and respond promptly.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English sufficient to perform job duties and interact with residents, vendors, and team members.

Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required. Trustworthiness, respect for others, dependability, professionalism, and teamwork are highly valued.

This full‑time dietary position works days, evenings, and weekends.
