Overview

Spring 2026 Business Intelligence Cooperative Student at Oglethorpe Power Corporation. This role involves working with the Fleet Support Team to improve data reporting by mining and analyzing data from various company databases and identifying opportunities to consolidate or leverage data for more effective reporting.

• Assist the Business Intelligence Program manager with data cleaning and data analysis using SQL and BI tools to determine new trends and patterns.
• Use different data sources to generate reports; recommend and develop new metrics beneficial to internal business units.
• Analyze data to find patterns and develop data models based on historical data.
• Build and manage reporting solutions for business process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze functional requirements; interpret results and communicate status reports and important findings to management and decision-makers.
• Communicate project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and timely fashion. Write code per coding conventions and deliver solutions as defined by documentation standards.
• Research and learn new tools/technologies in the analytics space that can be integrated into the present system for planning and building new products/solutions. Evaluate market tools and provide recommendations based on criteria.
• Support efforts to identify reliability issues and provide solutions to address failures; compile data to assess operational performance and reliability, and report results. May coordinate data collection in AZURE (data lake platform) with GSOC-IT resources.
