The Logistic/Distribution Warehouse Lead supports daily shipping and distribution operations, coordinating domestic and international shipments, including hazardous materials, parcel, air freight, and container shipments. This hands‑on lead role organizes daily work, guides and cross‑trains team members, maintains accurate shipping documentation, and works across departments to meet customer commitments, safety requirements, and operational objectives. The position provides day‑to‑day team leadership and escalates personnel or operational concerns to management.

• Lead and coordinate daily shipping and distribution activities, including workload planning, scheduling, prioritization, and timely completion of customer orders.
• Minimum five years of shipping and/or distribution experience, including domestic and international shipping operations.
• Minimum five years of experience leading and managing or directing the work of team members.
• Current hazardous-material shipping training and certification appropriate to assigned shipments.
• Minimum five years of forklift experience, including stand‑up forklift operation.
• Experience with international container shipments, air shipments, and Fed Ex and UPS shipping processes.
• Working knowledge of 5S and Lean practices, daily scheduling, and project planning.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional communication skills.
• Ability to interpret shipping instructions, safety procedures, and operational documents; maintain accurate records and demonstrate professionalism.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance, training, cross‑training, and work direction to shipping personnel; support continuity of operations in the manager’s absence.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including ocean containers, air freight, Fed Ex, UPS, and carrier pickups; track shipments and communicate delivery status.
