Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position specializing in Ortho, Spine, and Neuro care, requiring a current GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg unit focused on orthopedic, spine, and neurological patients
- 12-hour night shifts
- Position is on the 2nd floor unit
- No on-call requirements
- Deliver specialized Med/Surg nursing care to orthopedic, spine, and neurological patient populations
- Strict rules for requested time off: up to 5 days allowed if not around holidays; up to 3 days if on or near a holiday; only one holiday request is permitted
- Several consecutive days off during holidays will not be approved
- Candidates may only be considered for one position at a time
- Active RN license in Georgia or compact state required and must be in hand
- Minimum of 18 months of Med/Surg nursing experience with strong Ortho, Spine, or Neuro background
- Cannot be a local candidate within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least one year, and at least 18 months if returning to the same facility
