FUEL CENTER/CLERK
Join Kroger Mountain View Foods as a Fuel Center Clerk. Assist customers, manage the cash register, maintain a clean and organized fuel center, and support compliance and reporting activities.
Job DescriptionResponsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and keeping the fuel center tidy and stocked. Renew reports, fill out incident/security documentation, and comply with all corporate and safety policies. Demonstrate Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Responsibilities- Model Customer 1st behavior; encourage exceptional service from teammates
- Pump gasoline and manage related tasks
- Perform daily station inspection and complete the tour
- Fill out incident and security reports
- Clean up spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
- Recover displays, maintain appearance of the department
- Execute cashier functions accurately
- Answer telephone calls
- Follow corporate and safety policies
- Follow all safety guidelines and standards
- Promote and follow company initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of emergency plans, numbers and procedures
- Work cooperatively in a high‑pace, sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflict in a nonconfrontational manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum
- Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to work without direct supervision
Desired
- Related experience in a fuel center or retail environment
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure
