Outside Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Rep meets with customers in person to identify their needs and close sales deals. Their main duties include traveling to assigned territories to meet with potential and current customers, negotiating sales contracts and telling clients about new products, updates and features.

• Travel to service areas to represent the company and achieve the assigned goal
• Make outbound calls to sell company products
• Maintain a professional company image at all times
• Identify opportunities to improve sales performance
• Recommend improvements to boost performance to the sales team
• Monitor market conditions in relation to competitors
• Build strong and successful relationships with clients
• Deal with various technology and equipment to fulfill the job requirements
• Must be able to stand and walk for long hours at a time

• Proven experience as a sales representative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and rapport
• Great persuasive and negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proficient in technology and dealing with equipment and software
• Able to travel frequently as required of the job
• Must be able to stand and walk for long hours at a time
