Metro Power is looking for Electrical Service Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems & associated equipment while adhering to the National Electric Code (NEC) and equipment specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, cable testers, thermal scanners, and ammeters, Service Technicians are required to safely and effectively identify electrical problems and recommend repairs.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics, possess a solutions-based mindset, and exhibit professionalism during interactions with business owners & operators.
  • Document interactions with clients, collaborate with colleagues in a team environment, and perform any other tasks necessary to build and grow the department.
  • Conduct all business interactions in accordance with Metro Power’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements
  • Current driver’s license and reliable transportation – Required.
  • High school graduate, GED, or equivalent education – Required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior electrical experience – Required.
  • Georgia Electrical Contractors License – Preferred.
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship – Preferred.
  • Desire to work in a team‑based environment and contribute immediately.
  • Positive and safety‑conscious attitude with personal integrity – both are non‑negotiable.
