We are seeking a team player who is driven, detail-oriented with knowledge to process purchase orders for equipment and materials, mainly for the mining industry.
Basic Duties:- Evaluation of commercial bids
- Maintaining Requisition logs
- Update Project team on order status
- Liaison between suppliers, engineering, and accounting teams
- Implement and support the continuous improvement and execution of procurement procedures and systems.
- Maintain and update vendor information.
- A minimum of 3-4 years’ relative experience. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, MS Word)
- Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
- Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
- A valid passport or the ability to obtain one.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree
- SAP or equivalent software knowledge
- Bilingual English / Spanish abilities
- Experience industrial/mining experience
