Are you a Registered Dental Hygienist with a passion for delivering excellent patient care? Dentistry By Design is seeking an enthusiastic hygienist to join our busy office in Tucson! • $50 - $55 per hour

Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

• Day shift
• Part-Time: 3 days per week
• 8-hour day shifts
• Flexible scheduling to be discussed

• License & Certification:
  Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Licensed dental hygienist, X-ray / Radiography Certification
• Associate’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution (required)
• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in Arizona
• Current CPR certification
• Current Hepatitis B immunization
• Ability to administer local anesthetics and operate dental x-ray equipment
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude
• Well-versed in oral hygiene and dental health topics
• Entry-level candidates and recent grads are welcome
• Dental Hygienist License CPR Certification BLS Certification X-ray / Radiography Certification Local Anesthesia Certification Nitrous Oxide Certification Expanded Functions Dental Hygienist Advanced Dental Hygiene Practitioner Certification Infection Control License Driver's license

• Perform dental cleanings, including removing accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains
• Examine patients for signs of oral disease, including oral cancer screenings by checking lymph nodes
• Review and document patients’ medical histories
• Record dental decay and disease for dentist diagnosis and treatment planning
• Sharpen and sterilize dental instruments to maintain a safe and hygienic operatory
• Educate and motivate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Collaborate closely with the dentist for treatment planning and coordination
• Maintain a regular patient dental hygiene regimen
