OB​/GYN Physician

• Provide comprehensive women's health services to the membership through office services, deliveries, and inpatient/outpatient surgical procedures.
• Deliver compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to ethical principles and sensitivity to a diverse patient population.
• Show systems-based practice and use health care resources effectively.
• Maintain regular office hours and take primary and backup calls, including weekends and holidays.
• Attend scheduled departmental meetings and participate on assigned committees.
• Assist with departmental recruitment efforts.
• Demonstrate community involvement to promote the department, Southwest Medical, and Optum.
• Monday-Friday office schedule; no clinic schedule on call days.
• Hospital call is offsite only; calls are shared equally.
• Full scope GYN practice with major and minor procedure days.
• Excellent access to GYN-Oncology, Perinatology, and NICU physicians.
• Collegial group meetings scheduled monthly.

• Board certified/Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completed Obstetrics/Gynecology residency program.
• Medical license in Nevada or ability to obtain prior to start.
• DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills.

The salary range for this role is $278,500 to $484,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including education, experience, certifications, and performance metrics.
