Schedule:

Job Setting:
Hospital System, 33 beds in department Types of Cases:
General Surgery with focus on pediatric, neonate, and trauma (preferred);
Laparoscopic Surgery (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen fundoplication);
Head/neck surgery (including thyroid);
Chest wall/pleural procedures;
Breast surgery; GI endoscopy (upper and lower including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy);
Minor Orthopedics;
Hand Surgery;
Ventilation management;
Chest tube insertion;
Central line insertion; PA Catheter placement;
Vascular Surgery (aneurysm repairs - thoracic and abdominal, arterial bypass, peripheral, vascular access devices, AV shunt);
Pediatric surgery procedures including artesias (esophageal, intestinal, biliary), abdominal wall defects (gastroschisis), umbilical defects (hernia, omphalocele), diaphragmatic hernia, imperforate anus, PDA ligation Credentialing: 30 days, 3 years fellowship required

Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible:
Board Eligible minimum required, Board Certified preferred

Certifications:

ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, Laser certification Licensure:
