Zero Call Inpatient & Outpatient Neurology California Medical Center

A large medical center in central California and the associate neurosciences group is recruiting neurologists to join its rapidly growing Neurosciences program. The program is excited to have neurology and neurosurgery together under one roof in the newly dedicated standalone building Neurosciences Institute. Due to the tremendous need in the area, the program is looking for neurologists with training in Neuro‑Oncology, Neuro‑Ophthalmology, Dementia, Neuromuscular, Clinical Neurophysiology, Stroke (outpatient clinical‑focus), and also General Neurology.

Neurologists with an interest in a nocturnist Stroke/Neurohospitalist role could also be a great fit. Epilepsy and Movement Disorders are also top needs for the program, with potential for leadership and helping to grow the programs alongside the group’s Functional Neurosurgeons.

The program is additionally looking for a Pain Management leader, and a neurologists with that background could be a great fit as well. Since 2021, the program has grown to a team of nearly 30 neurologists. The community is proud to have a diverse physician population, including many first‑generation physicians. The team is excited to offer mentorship for trainees interested in being part of a new and well‑supported program, in addition to neurologists of all levels of experience.

• Will start at approximately 30% admin/70% clinical
• As more physicians are hired, move toward a 50% admin time/50% clinical time schedule

• Hiring 5 neurologists with zero call responsibilities; all subspecialists encouraged to apply

• Dementia, Neuro‑Oncology, Neuro‑Ophthalmology, Neuromuscular, and Clinical Neurophysiology can quickly see over 50% subspecialty volume, and can expect to ramp up further in a short timeframe
• Opportunity for a Monday‑Friday/8am‑5pm clinic based Stroke Neurology role
• General Neurology interests would also be very well supported
