Cardiologist

Carondelet Medical Group is seeking an employed, full-time General Cardiology physician to join their collaborative team based eph's Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. Clinicians practice in a nationally recognized cardiac center with a dedicated structural heart team while administrative burdens are fully managed by centralized services. Practice Info

• St. Joseph's Hospital is a nationally recognized cardiac center holding Comprehensive Stroke Center certification, Chest Pain Center accreditation, and Cardiac Arrest Receiving Center designation.
• Dedicated structural heart team supporting high-risk patients, cardiogenic shock, structural/valvular disease, and STEMI/shock transfer management.
• Multi-provider physician and APP team with centralized professional services support.
• Clinic census 24-30 patients; hospital census 10-25 patients.
• Centralized billing, credentialing, HR, and compliance support, along with in-house marketing and business development resources.

Responsibilities

• Perform hospital consults, echocardiogram, and EKG interpretation.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time
• 35-45 hours per clinic week
• Shared 7-days-on hospital rotation with no calls after 5 PM

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Arizona medical license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care
