The Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering is seeking applications for a Coordinator, Graduate Programs (Student Services Administration Professional III) to support student success and program development for our Systems & Industrial (SIE) Graduate programs. The position is responsible for providing academic advising, programming, scheduling, admissions/enrollment management, and general support of the graduate programs in SIE. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and growth of the Master's in Industrial Engineering, Master's in Systems Engineering, Master's in Engineering Management, PhD in Systems & Industrial Engineering degrees, Accelerated Master's and gradate certificate programs by serving as a point of contact for admission;
managing student plans of study, petitions, and required milestone documentation; advising students on degree requirements; facilitating student-faculty advisor relationships; and working with the graduate studies committee to establish programs processes that are in alignment with SIE and the Graduate College.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesGraduate Program Support
- Serve as primary contact for graduate admissions and recruitment; manage graduate applications for the academic year.
- Collaborate with marketing staff to develop promotional material and websites for Master's and PhD programs.
- Issue Letter of Support, I-20, GISALS to international students and assist with U.S. Visa processes in coordination with International Student Services.
- Facilitate external awards for scholarships and stipends.
- Plan and organize graduate program events including new student orientation (main campus and online students) and open house sessions.
- In collaboration with the Department Head, Program Directors, and Director of Graduate Studies, allocate teaching assignments for all courses, coordinate funding assignments with research faculty, provide TA/Grader responsibilities, and onboard TAs/Graders with the Business Center for timesheet approval.
- Supervise student workers supporting administrative tasks related to graduate programs.
- Document procedures and workflows; train other staff on administrative processes.
- Advise Master's and PhD students regarding university and program policies, course scheduling, and degree requirements.
- Participate in the Graduate Studies Committee.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide curriculum updates, new course proposals, additions/modifications and new programs plan to curricular affairs for graduate programs.
- Assist students and faculty advisors with Grad Path forms to create a plan of study for Graduate Certificate, Master's, PhD students, and students choosing to minor in SIE.
- Create plans of study for cultural sponsors, ROTC students, Independent Study, internships, and other career opportunities.
- Collaborate with undergraduate advisors and faculty to plan and manage the Accelerated Master's Program (AMP).
- Manage Masters thesis/report assessment requirements with faculty committee assessments.
- Coordinate scheduling and managing administration of PhD qualifying exams, comprehensive exams, and final oral defense assessment.
- Coordinate College of Engineering Outstanding Graduate Student and Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant selections with nominating faculty and facilitate other university or college funding opportunities for graduate students.
- Compile list of expected graduates for fall, spring, winter, and summer semesters.
- Prepare and administer exit surveys for graduating students.
- Develop reports on graduate student data for faculty retreats, including new student enrollment across all campuses; update trackers for current students' progression, alumni, doctoral milestones, Master's thesis, and PhD comprehensive/final oral defenses.
