Company Overview

Alpha is committed to transforming education—and we are seeking a visionary leader to unlock new possibilities for our students. If you excel at developing high-performing teams and share a profound commitment to innovative youth development, this opportunity offers a platform for transformative impact.

This role provides both autonomy and organizational support to elevate our advanced learning methodology. Grounded in learning science and enabled by adaptive technology, we are expanding the boundaries of educational achievement. Your expertise is essential to realize this vision.

You will serve as the catalyst, strategist, and coach for our Guides—the frontline facilitators who inspire rather than simply instruct. Your leadership will define how Alpha Guides engage with students, encompassing the creation of playbooks, feedback systems, and the demonstration of exemplary facilitation techniques.

Why Alpha? Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits and leave, a culture of growth and development, and relocation support offered to exceptionally qualified candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and training a team of Guides to deliver the Alpha learning system with world-class excellence.
  • Authoring Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, design of engaging learning activities, and challenge resolution strategies.
  • Delivering consistent, actionable feedback to Guides that enhances student engagement and achievement outcomes.
  • Personally mentoring a small student cohort, demonstrating expert coaching techniques and motivational approaches.
  • Creating lesson plans is NOT part of this role; the focus is on training Guides to become exceptional facilitators.
  • Upkeeping the passing threshold of 100% and maintaining uncompromised standards.
  • Developing Guides through dynamic, energetic, experiential training.
Basic Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a closely related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities with the ability to build, manage, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Experience engaging with youth (ages 5-18) in an educational or developmental setting.
  • Competency in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Availability to work on‑site in Atlanta, GA;
    Las Vegas, NV;
    Nashville, TN;
    Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Spotswood, NJ.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
