Unbound Academy is a fully virtual, tuition‑free charter school that has reimagined education. We've replaced worksheets with experiential learning and placed personal development at the center. Students complete their academics in two concentrated hours using AI‑driven tools. The remainder of their day is spent in immersive workshops designed to cultivate life skills, curiosity, and self‑assurance.

Your role won't involve delivering scripted content or managing a traditional virtual classroom. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions where students engage with ambitious ideas through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and other enriching domains. You'll mentor them toward autonomy, support their personal development, and help them acquire the competencies that truly matter beyond the classroom.

This position is not suited for those attached to conventional schooling models. It's designed for Arizona‑certified teachers prepared to work remotely, embrace innovative pedagogy, and support students in ways that genuinely equip them for life. • Facilitating engaging, virtual workshops centered on life skills such as creativity, communication, and critical problem‑solving
• Providing one‑on‑one and small‑group mentorship to cultivate confidence, autonomy, and executive functioning
• Leveraging platform analytics to personalize support and monitor student development over time
• Partnering with other educators to design and refine project‑based learning initiatives
• Establishing a secure, energizing environment where students feel valued, understood, and motivated to develop

• Instructing core academic subjects—AI tutors manage that responsibility
• Presenting scripted lectures or maintaining a conventional classroom structure
• Evaluating assignments or preparing standardized lesson materials

Lead transformative, real‑world learning experiences that support student growth and life preparedness within a flexible, fully virtual school environment.

• Valid US teaching certificate from any state
• Background in teaching, mentoring, or coaching students (Grades 4–8 preferred)
• Confident virtual presence; capable of leading effectively via video
• Availability for full‑time work (M–F, 8am–5pm Arizona time)
• Able to start within 2‑3 weeks
• Enthusiastic about working in a technology‑enabled, student‑centered school

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
