RN Clinical Educator

Up to $10K Bonus Based on Eligibility

RN Clinical Educator Full Time Days.

Position Summary:

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.

• Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
• Develops, implements and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
• Serves as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
• Participates in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs, including preceptor programs.
• This educator is accountable for the documentation and validation Network staff training at Training Facility. Provides curriculum development in collaboration with Clinical Education Specialists.
• Participates in organizational goal setting. Participates in brainstorming activities. Provides feedback on nursing procedures.
• Supports and participates in development of protocols related to practice in collaboration with other team members.
• Participates in research and Quality Monitoring. Participates in the evaluation of results and impact of services.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:

• Required: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• CERTIFICATIONS PREFERRED: NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN - Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring

EDUCATION:

• Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Education, or related field. May be currently enrolled in Master’s program.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Required: Two (2) years related experience or one (1) year supervisory
• Required: Women's services (Labor & Delivery, couplet care and/or NICU)
• Preferred: Three (3) years Specific area experience and one (1) year supervisory
