Smyth Industries Engineering Division is currently searching for an individual with Water Infrastructure Industry experience as a Senior Construction Manager to help enhance our current team. We provide full-service electrical, civil, manufacturing, engineering and general contracting services for the water and reclamation industry.

The ideal candidate will foster teamwork and create a positive work environment in a fast-paced industry, while helping our Arizona clients engineer, rehabilitate, manufacture and construct water distribution and treatment infrastructure.

Under minimum supervision, the Senior Construction Manager will oversee, plan, and manage construction projects in the water and reclamation industry. This position ensures the successful execution of projects from conception to completion while adhering to Smyth Industries Policies and Procedures, Safety Compliance, and Core Values. In addition, the Senior Construction Manager will manage and mentor other construction managers and/or crews to ensure alignment with company goals and project success.

• Provides high-level oversight of multiple construction projects and directs Construction Managers in the successful execution of projects from conception through completion.
• Ensures consistency in project delivery by establishing best practices for scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and risk management across all construction teams.
• Monitors overall project performance across various sites, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and contractual obligations while mitigating risks.
• Leads conflict resolution and high-level negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Drives accountability and performance metrics among project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Provides high-level project communication, representing the company in meetings with municipal and private industry clients, governmental agencies, and key stakeholders.
• Oversees project proposals and work plans, ensuring efficient allocation of internal resources and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborates between clients, project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain seamless project coordination and execution.
• Ensures all projects adhere to industry safety regulations and company quality standards through proactive monitoring, audits, and continuous process improvements.
