The Effector RF Products Department is seeking a Lab Lead. This individual will collaborate closely with other Lab Leads, Engineering staff, and Technicians to ensure the Engineering Labs adhere to established company policies and provide hardware development support to program teams. This position works closely with all levels of leadership in multiple organizations as well as managing lab utilization across various projects.

As a member of the team, this position will lead day-to-day operation requirements in Engineering Labs, with a particular focus on safety, compliance, security, improvement, and program support. The Lab Lead owns the quality and performance of the Effector RF Products Department's Engineering Labs.

What You Will Do:

* Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies.

* Management, coordination, and implementation of Environmental Health and Safety standards.

* Ensure company and customer owned property is properly tracked, managed, and calibrated.

* Maintain and improve the lab access list and training matrices, ensuring all personnel entering the labs are properly trained and cleared.

* Uphold company policies and practices to ensure compliance and provide a safe and secure lab environment.

* Take a proactive role in developing, understanding, and implementing common lab processes, tools, templates, and metrics.

* Communicate issues and opportunities for improvement to team members and management.

* Oversee audit assessment preparation;
Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Factory & Lab Assessment reviews; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long-range objectives.

* Safeguard classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation.

* Adhere to the RTX Code of Conduct by exhibiting respect and ethical behavior to serve as a positive role model within the organization.

* Audits which may include but are not limited to:
Environmental Health and Safety, Security, Lab Quality, Customer, and Equipment. Qualifications You Must Have:
* Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

* A minimum of five years of experience to include any combination of the following:

* Managing compliance in an Engineering or similar environment.

* Process creation and management for an Engineering or similar environment.

* Managing Environmental Health and Safety standards. Qualifications We Prefer:
* A Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or related field.

* Experience with chemical handling, metrology, and property control requirements and processes.

* Possess strong organizational, coordination, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Exemplary oral communication and interpersonal/human relations skills.

* Have situational awareness, strong emotional intelligence, and be able to effectively work multiple projects simultaneously with multi-disciplined groups and customers.

* Leadership behaviors and willingness to make decisions and embrace change.

* Experience developing solutions and maintaining audit readiness procedures and goals for an organization.

* Experience working directly with engineers, technicians, and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance, and property management.

* Experience with EHS, NISPOM, and Foreign Object Elimination processes.

* Theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
