Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) integrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work together with our customers.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible Engineering Authority (REA):
    You will be the technical authority for overseeing the assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic units (referred to as "Stacks"). Your work ensures these units are built correctly and meet program requirements.
  • Key Responsibilities:

    Handling Failures:
    Analyze and resolve complex test or workmanship issues that may arise during the assembly or testing process.

    Documentation:
    Record the build and history of the hardware, ensuring all details are accurately documented.

    Acceptance Review Packages:
    Prepare and present packages that summarize the hardware's compliance and readiness for use by the adopting programs.

    Technical Data Package (TDP):
    Maintain and update the Stack TDP, which includes all design and process-related documents. This also involves processing any changes or deviations (change notices or variances).

  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with Operations (OPS) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the assembly and testing process for Stacks.
  • Software Interaction (Limited): Occasionally, interact with software developers to review, debug, and provide feedback on updates to the software used for testing and accepting Stacks.
  • Please note this is for the 2nd Shift. .

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or integration & test engineering role, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Experience with electronic unit troubleshooting and testing, especially for RF subsystems.
  • Experience working in a production environment.
  • Requires lifting and handling of hardware components.
  • Active and transferrable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in documenting and dispositioning complex failures.
  • Proficiency in preparing hardware acceptance review packages.
  • Experience in maintaining Technical Data Package (TDP).
  • Proficient in processing change notices and variances.
