We are looking for a seasoned Sr. Systems Engineer to join our Signal Processing team within the Processing, Guidance and Controls Center (PG&C) of the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Discipline.
Responsibilities- Collaboration in the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of radar algorithms and models.
- Use and modify simulations for developing and validating radar models and signal processing algorithm performance.
- Participate in engineering laboratory environments to test, verify, and validate radar models and algorithms in accordance with requirements.
- Focus on integration of algorithms into hardware while supporting all development phases from program start‑up through live‑fire testing, including design reviews, peer reviews, and technical briefings.
- Share knowledge and mentor others.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five years of prior relevant experience.
- Radar signal processing experience on missile system applications supporting customer programs.
- Proficiency in the C++ programming language and object‑oriented software design.
- Experience with algorithm design, implementation, analysis, testing, and optimization.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Experience with version control tools such as Azure Dev Ops and Git.
- Practical experience with adaptive processing, angle estimation techniques, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), radar applications of machine learning, waveform design, or tracking algorithms.
- Proficiency in using MATLAB or Python for data set evaluation.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting analysis to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with hardware/software integration and interfacing with adjacent engineering disciplines (Guidance, Navigation & Control, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering).

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD – 164,000 USD.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
