Security Clearance:
DoD Clearance – Secret
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion (and related analog) circuitry, primarily non‑isolated and isolated switch‑mode converters and linear converters.
- Guide circuit card development through its design phases, from requirements definition through initial integration testing.
- Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities, with moderate support from senior engineers.
- Assist in layer stackup definition.
- Clearly present your work product to functional and program leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major.
- Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with non‑isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck‑boost.
- Beginner‑level experience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar.
- No more than 12 months of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance).
- Design and analysis experience with analog or digital power converter design.
- Experience guiding ECAD personnel through PWB layout and technical drawing creation.
- Experience with design considerations for voltages up to 400 V and/or power up to 10 kW.
- Experience with three‑phase power systems, power‑factor control, and inverter/rectifier development.
- Experience with circuit simulators (SIMPLIS, SABER) and analysis tools (Mathcad, Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, Hyperlynx).

Salary Range: $55,000 – $107,000 USD.
