DESCRIPTIONGeo Logics is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environment systems for all client effector products.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments.
- Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements.
- Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
- Active Secret security clearance issued by the Department of Defense.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum five (5) years of work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of technical / engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production support.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric.
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis.
- Experience creating mechanical drawing packages.
- Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging.
- Experience with Configuration Management processes, application, and tools (Windchill / cPDM).
- Experience with cable design, specifically CREO Schematic.
