As a Project Engineer / Civil Engineer Land Development, you will utilize your expertise and technical abilities to collaborate and contribute to the planning and design activities for a broad range of project assignments dealing with site development, roadway, traffic, hydrology & hydraulics, utilities and more for public, private and institutional clients, while working in a team‑oriented setting and interacting with clients.

• Be responsible for organizing and executing the technical quality and coordination of a broad range of project assignments requiring an extensive knowledge of site development
• Represent company and client to agencies and contractors
• Lead design efforts for all aspects of land development engineering, which may include research and analysis, hydraulics, hydrology, storm/sewer drainage, street design, and grading
• Design utilizing Civil3D for public, private, and institutional projects
• Work with fellow team members and supervisors to provide all necessary design, coordination, and follow‑up work to ensure agency requirements and quality standards are met
• Prepare plans and profiles, compiling research and development of technical reports, calculations, cost/quantity estimates, and specifications in order to provide clear, traceable, and coordinated interpretation of the design/drawings for construction
• Participate in site visits, client meetings, and QA/QC
• Assist and lead efforts for agency approvals and be familiar with local regulatory requirements and procedures
• Possess a thorough understanding of concepts of schedule, budget, and scope of services
• Supervise, coach, and mentor staff and coordinate with them for design efforts

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain in Arizona
• 5 years' civil engineering experience with private development, facilities, infrastructure and public works design
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in civil design with knowledge of Civil3D, AutoCAD
• Strong technical knowledge with proven experience in preparing technical reports, designs, construction documents, specifications, and computations
