Join our Dynamic Energy Transfer (DET) Product Development team, where we’re redefining how energy flows through mining and heavy equipment systems. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer who wants to shape how complex systems are validated. In this role, you’ll collaborate with design, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams to define validation strategies, develop test plans, and ensure product quality throughout development. You will be responsible for creating validation processes for a new Caterpillar product, coordinating execution at the Tucson Proving Ground and customer sites, and driving alignment across stakeholders.

• Lead validation planning efforts across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production, ensuring designs meet performance, durability, and safety requirements.

• Develop and improve testing strategies
  , processes, and tools to maximize efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues, ensure design acceptance, and achieve manufacturing readiness.

• Adopt emerging technologies (automation, robotics, advanced simulation) to enhance validation capabilities.

• Monitor and analyze test results

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science) or related field.
