We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. Test Equipment products are located in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system product verification, qualification, test data analysis, and production test solution development. Test Equipment has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and sustainment.

Test Equipment is looking for Mechanical Engineers to be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environment systems for all Raytheon products.

What You Will Do Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments

Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements

Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions

Qualifications You Must Have:

Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

Education and/or Experience with project work in one or more of the following: mechanical/electronic sub-systems packaging, material selection, thermal analysis, structural analysis, control systems, electrical hardware design, or large assembly development

Qualifications We Prefer:

Completion of 1 internship in a related field

Experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric

Experience with creating design drawing packages

Experience in Model Based Engineering or Model Based Design
