The Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer will develop physics-based simulations and mission analyses to understand trajectory, range, engagement performance, system limitations and mission effectiveness
.

As the Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer your responsibilities will include

• Developing physics-based and 6-DOF simulations for missiles, interceptors and aerospace vehicles
• Modelling trajectories, engagements and mission scenarios to understand performance and operational limits
• Running Monte Carlo analyses, sensitivity studies and trade studies to identify key performance drivers
• Building Python-based simulation, analysis and visualisation tools for multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Translating results into recommendations that influence requirements, architecture, design and testing

As the Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer you will bring

• Experience in modeling & simulation, mission analysis, flight performance, GNC or flight sciences
• Strong Python skills with numerical modelling, simulation or scientific computing experience
• Experience with 6-DOF models, Monte Carlo analysis, dynamic systems or physics-based simulation
• Knowledge of flight dynamics, trajectories, vehicle performance or engagement analysis
• Ability to translate complex simulation results into clear engineering decisions

Missile, interceptor or weapons-system experience is valuable but not essential
. Engineers from UAV, aircraft, spacecraft, GNC, autonomy and flight dynamics backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer will work alongside GNC, systems, software, test and hardware engineers, using simulation to explore new ideas and directly influence physical system development.
