• Perform month‑end close activities, including various journal entries (recurring, accruals, prepaid amortization, payroll, depreciation, revenue, adjusting and correcting entries).
• Complete bank reconciliations and recording of fixed asset additions and disposals.
• Prepare consolidated profit and loss statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, and other interim financial reports.
• Maintain clean general ledger accounts and produce reconciliations and supporting schedules monthly.
• Assist the Controller with year‑end close activities, including financial audit preparation and schedule preparation, corporate tax return information requests, real and personal property tax exemptions, and annual liability insurance renewal.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual grant reports.
• Maintain process documentation and instructions for essential duties.
• Cross‑train to perform other finance functions as needed due to absences or other needs.
• Perform other related activities as the agency grows and changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of general ledger accounting experience, including month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license, proof of current insurance, and willingness to use personal vehicle.
• Experience in nonprofit environments is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Abila (MIP) accounting software is preferred but not required.
