Overview
Principal Specialist Program Cost Controls - Tomahawk s role supports the Tomahawk Production Program finance team with responsibilities including forecast and cost control, interaction with Control Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, program and finance leadership, Supply Chain MPMs, and government customers. Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills are required to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.

- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance and data analysis.
- Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development.
- Establish and maintain program logs (Work Authorization, Contract Mod Log, R&Os).
- Provide financial guidance to Factory Overhead Managers, IPT leads, and other finance branches.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams; prepare and deliver presentations to various levels of the organization.
- Develop and deliver Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs).
- Support the monthly forecast / close process.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or related field or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience; or Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
- Program Controls experience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Systems / BW Toolset or similar.
- Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a secret clearance.
- Able to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong mathematics, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a production-oriented business and in DoD regulations (FAR/DFARS/TINA/CAS).
- Experience using SAP/BW.
- Effective communication with all levels of management, both verbal and written.
- Program FP&A forecasting (Sales, Bookings, Profit, Cash).
- Self-initiative with proactive analytical mindset.
