Infection Preventionist Unit Manager

Sandstone of Tucson is looking for a dedicated nurse to serve as our Infection Preventionist (IP) and Long-Term Care Unit Manager. This is a full-time leadership position for someone who is organized, clinically strong, and ready to make an impact.

Up to $5K Sign On Bonus!

• Oversee daily operations of the long-term care unit, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care
• Serve as the facility’s Infection Preventionist, leading surveillance, staff education, and compliance initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans and manage patient outcomes
• Monitor infection trends and implement prevention protocols according to CDC, CMS, and state guidelines
• Support, train, and mentor clinical staff

• LPN or RN, licensed in Arizona
• Certified or willing to become certified as an Infection Preventionist (we’ll support the right candidate)
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills
