About the RoleThe Clinical Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and enhancing patient care. The position is ideal for compassionate, organized individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and who enjoy working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Duties include patient preparation, medical record management, basic clinical tasks, and support of clinic andrology labs under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
Location& Schedule
Arizona – Tucson, AZ Full‑time, onsite. Regular hours:
Monday‑Friday 7:15 AM – 4:15 PM. Occasional Sunday work may be required.
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive experience.
- Prepare examination rooms, maintain equipment, and ensure cleanliness.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications as directed.
- Record patient information and maintain accurate medical records.
- Schedule patient appointments, manage correspondence, and handle phone inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide patient education on procedures, medications, and follow‑up care.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies.
- Contribute to cross‑training and support duties in the andrology lab as needed.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Education: Medical Assistant certification or a Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field (highly preferred).
- Experience: 1–2 years in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Skills:
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Compassionate, patient‑focused, and confidential handling of information.
- Effective teamwork capabilities.
- Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
