Travel:
Echocardiology Technician / Radiology Position Information:
Shift: 4/10's 0600 - 1630
Duration: 13 Weeks
On Call:
Short call and long call divided up between staff to cover nights/weekends
The Echo traveler needs to be proficient in the following Echo based procedures:
- 1.Adult 2D echo
- a. with use of contrast agent
- b. bubble study
- c. Post cardiac cath
- d. Post surgical echo
- e. assessment of pericardial effusion
- f. pericardiocentesis imaging
- g. calculating LV and RV strain
- h. diastology with TDI
- i. PISA calculations
- j. Biplane measurements for EF
- 2.Treadmill stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging
- 3.Dobutamine stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging
- 4.Transesophageal Echo (TEE), set up , image acquisition, physician assistance
