Summary:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for receiving, sorting, processing, drying/pressing, folding and stocking all linens and terry, such as sheets, blankets, robes, bedspreads, towels and napkins.

• Receive and sort incoming laundry items from resort departments
• Load and unload washers and dryers
• Fold dry linens and terry
• Run napkins through the press
• Restock the shelves with clean linens
• Sweep and mop to maintain working area clean
• Promptly report to supervisor any malfunctions of the equipment
• Sort out and report any damaged/stained linens or terry
• Attend scheduled meetings and training as required by management
• Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing a clean and pressed proper uniform and name tag when working
• Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers/supervisors and fellow employees
• Employee must maintain a positive attitude and work as a team with fellow co-workers at all times
