Manager, Business Intelligence

• Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s BI strategy and roadmap, align with overall business objectives, and ensure data governance.
• Strategic Leadership: Identify and evaluate new BI tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data capabilities and reporting efficiency.
• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with other departments to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across various source systems.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI analysts and developers; manage priorities, workloads, and project timelines.
• Team Leadership & Development: Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career growth.
• Solution Development and Delivery: Oversee end‑to‑end development of BI solutions, including data modeling, ETL, report design, dashboard creation, and visualization.
• Solution Development and Delivery: Ensure accuracy, reliability, and usability of all BI reports and dashboards.
• Solution Development and Delivery: Implement best practices for data visualization, user experience, and performance optimization.
• Solution Development and Delivery: Manage the BI platform environment to ensure stability, security, and scalability.
• Solution Development and Delivery: Perform complex data analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges in retail operations.

• Budget & Resource Management: Manage the BI systems technology budget, including hardware, software licenses, services, and personnel.
• Budget & Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence or related field.
• 2‑3 years of leadership or managerial experience.
• Experience in the retail industry, understanding of retail KPIs and operations.
• Expertise with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik Sense;
  Domo experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, Big Query).
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication of complex insights to non‑technical audiences.
• Experience managing projects in an agile environment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
