Gray Digital Media & KOLD 13 NEWS is seeking a skilled and results-driven Digital Campaign Strategist/Specialist. The strategist will analyze user experience data, initiate digital projects, report on strategies, lead effective digital marketing initiatives, and ensure timely completion within budget. The role involves growing our business, expanding the customer base, and enhancing user experience. Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to Tucson, Arizona.
DigitalStrategist Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients and account executives to understand business objectives and advertising strategy.
- Communicate with clients and account executives to develop comprehensive digital media strategies and marketing campaigns across platforms including streaming, Display/Video/Social, Google AdWords, You Tube, Facebook Products, SEO, e‑mail, website development, and contesting.
- Present recommendations directly to clients in coordination with account executives.
- Define clear campaign objectives, identify target audiences, and create effective segmentation strategies.
- Gather campaign data from various sources for delivery and monthly reporting.
- Set up, launch, manage, and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and bid management.
- Analyze campaign performance data, generate insightful reports, and provide actionable recommendations for ongoing optimization. Ensure campaigns meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously for several different clients.
- Undertake research and analyze data using industry resources.
- Share the latest digital trends with the internal sales team and directly with clients.
- 3+ years of experience as a digital strategist or similar role.
- Demonstrable knowledge of digital advertising products:
Streaming (OTT/CTV), Pre‑Roll, Display, social media, SEO/SEM, websites, and e‑mail marketing. - Both Google Ads and GA4 Analytics certifications.
- Knowledge of planning and managing multi‑platform media campaigns.
- Experience and understanding of GTM and pixel placements on websites.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Exceptional presentation abilities with a proactive approach to client interaction.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with aptitude for statistics and math.
