Join EY to shape your future with confidence as a Digital Grid Manager. In this role you’ll provide consulting services to Power & Utilities clients implementing Digital Grid Programs, capabilities and systems (AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS) to increase value and efficiency.

The opportunity

As a Manager in Technology Transformation Program Delivery you will lead both technical and non‑technical project teams, aligning initiatives with organizational strategy and managing timelines, costs, and quality. You will coach teams on Agile and waterfall delivery methods and propose solutions to technical constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver one or more processes, solutions, and/or projects with a focus on quality and risk management.
  • Engage in continuous process improvement and research innovative solutions through analysis and best practices.
  • Supervise professional employees and drive performance against client service, quality, risk, sales, and business growth metrics.
  • Travel may be required regularly as needed by external clients.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year degree).
  • 4‑6 years relevant experience.
  • Proven business or technical work experience in one or more digital grid focus areas (AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS, Network Modeling).
  • Experience with iterative delivery methodologies.
  • Project and program definition, governance, and resource management.
  • Project or program value, finance, budget, and quality management.
  • System Development Lifecycle knowledge.
  • Technology landscape understanding.
  • Relationship building and client trust.
  • Communication with impact.
  • Complex problem‑solving, critical thinking, digital fluency.
  • Driving outcomes, hybrid collaboration, leading teams, learning agility, managing change, negotiation and influencing.
Ideal Experience
  • Experience working with vendor software (Itron, L+G, Schneider Electric, ABB, GE, OSI, CYME, PSCAD, PSS/E).
  • Capability to solve complex problems and implement policy changes and procedures.
  • Proven experience leading teams, providing feedback, and managing complex technical initiatives with accountability.
  • Track record of active participation in client sessions, leading delivery, managing economics, and identifying new service opportunities.
